The Pedal for the Planet (P4P) National Bike Relay will be in Guelph on Monday, August 31. This is the perfect opportunity to relay your concern about climate change to Ottawa!
On July 3, teams of bikers left Vancouver, BC and St. John’s, NF to cycle across Canada to Ottawa. A third branch left Windsor on August 24 to join them in Toronto.
The goal
To demonstrate personal commitment to change for the environment while collecting the concerns and expectations of Canadians for much stronger federal leadership on climate change. P4P riders will deliver your messages to Ottawa when the fall parliamentary session opens this September.
Join the ride through Guelph or all the way to Ottawa!
Meet in Kitchener: Intersection of Fountain St. North and Kossuth Rd.
Time: 9.00 a.m.
Distance: 17.5 km
Or join in anywhere along the route. They will be taking Kossuth Rd. all the way to Guelph. It becomes Wellington St. and continues right into downtown. (This is Ontario Bicycle Route #110.)
